111 Memories

4 bedrooms | 3 bathrooms | Sleeps 8 | Sea and Mountain Views | Inverter System | Children 2yrs+ welcome

111 Memories is a light-white-and-bright, contemporary beach house located in the sought after De Kelders neighbourhood of Gansbaai. The villa has spectacular views of Walker Bay and the surrounding mountains, and whale watching can be done right off the balcony. It is situated only a short stroll or drive away from the shoreline, the Klipgat Caves, and “Die Plaat” nature reserve and beach. The house offers ample indoor and outdoor entertainment areas for family and friends to gather and BBQ/braai, and for the family to rest and relax around the swimming pool.

The house comprises 4 bedrooms and can accommodate 8 guests. On the first floor, the large main bedroom contains a beautiful poplar wood hand-crafted king-size bed and a spacious en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower. The second and third bedrooms on the ground floor contain 2 single beds each. The fourth bedroom comprises a queen-size bed with a superbly crafted poplar wood headboard and bedside tables. All three downstairs bedrooms have access to an adjacent bathroom with a bath and a shower. A third bathroom with a shower and toilet is located in the tv lounge area on the ground floor.

The house includes a fully equipped upstairs open-plan kitchen and dining area, and spacious lounge with fireplace. The lounge opens onto a large balcony and seating area with sublime views of the ocean and mountain range across Walker Bay. The kitchen is modern with all the appliances and amenities guests require for perfectly cooked holiday meals. It has an electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster and air fryer. It also has a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.

In addition, the house is equipped with a TV with full DStv channels, Wi-Fi, and beach towels. An inverter system provides alternative power supply to lights, the TV, the Wi-Fi and the security system.

The house features an outside braai area as well as enclosed outdoor dining overlooking the swimming pool. The house offers free driveway parking for 2 cars.

Walker Bay is a sanctuary for the Southern right whale. It feeds in Antarctica during the summer months and then migrates thousands of kilometres to the sheltered bays of South Africa to mate and calve.

If you want to get away from the busy city life and relax, 111 Memories is the place for you!
