Larch House

Larch House is situated just up the road from Hermanus’ Blue Flag Beach, Grotto Beach. The solar/inverter powered house is architecturally designed and larch-wood cladded, and offers comfortable and contemporary accommodation.

The house comprises 3 bedrooms and can accommodate 6 guests. The main bedroom contains a king-size bed, a separate walk-in dressing room, seating, and a bathroom with a bath and shower. The second bedroom contains a queen-size bed, seating, and a bathroom with a shower. The third bedroom contains 2 single beds, seating, and a bathroom with a shower. Each room is equipped with a ceiling fan.

The house includes an open-plan kitchen and dining area, and a living room with a fireplace, a Smart TV, Bose stereo and DVD player. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering with an electric oven and stove, fridge, microwave, and kettle and toaster. The kitchen features a breakfast counter with bar stools, as well as a dishwasher and basic cleaning materials. The laundry is equipped with a commercial-sized washing machine and tumble-dryer.

Additional features include floor-to-ceiling double-glazed windows and sliding doors, timber Venetian blinds, light beachwood flooring throughout, ceiling fans, Wi-Fi, books, games and CD’s, beach towels, toiletries, and a security system.

There is a plunge pool for those hot summer days, as well as outdoor seating and dining, portable braai facilities, and an outdoor shower to rinse off after a day at the beach.
