Vinho Verde Villa offers traditional self-catering accommodation perfect for family holidays right by the ocean. Located in the quaint seaside village of Franskraal near Gansbaai, the villa offers exquisite views of the dancing ocean with breakers enticing guests to join in the fun only short stroll away to the rocky shoreline. The house offers ample indoor and outdoor entertainment areas for family and friends to gather and BBQ/braai, featuring an X-factor private entertainment area with a jacuzzi and fire pits located side-by-side, shaded by a grand old tree.

The house comprises 4 bedrooms and can accommodate 8 guests. On the first floor, the main en-suite bedroom contains a queen-size bed neatly overlooking the beautiful blue ocean, and en-suite bathroom with a spa bath and shower. Downstairs, the second bedroom also peers over the ocean and contains a queen-size bed with en-suite bathroom featuring a bath and shower. A small balcony provides for early morning coffee chats. Bedroom 3 has a double and a single bed, and en-suite bathroom with a shower, and has access to the jacuzzi and peaceful entertainment area. Bedroom 4 is a separate en-suite cottage room with a double bed and a bathroom with shower. This room is ideal for an au pair or nanny for the kids and also opens onto the jacuzzi. A fifth guest bathroom with shower can be found downstairs.

The house includes a downstairs open-plan kitchen, bar nook and outdoor dining area, and a spacious tv lounge with pool table. The fully equipped kitchen has a gas hob and electric oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, and toaster, and dishwasher. On the upper floor there is another spacious tv lounge area with inside BBQ/braai/fire place, a dining room area, a bar with ice making machine, a kitchenette with a washing basin, fridge/freezer, and a dishwasher. A washing machine and tumble-dryer and cleaning materials are located in a separate laundry room. A large balcony covered with artificial lawn provides welcome sunbathing or comfy reading under an umbrella shade. Sundowner moments offer an end to the perfect day.

In addition, the house is equipped with a TV with full DStv channels, Wi-Fi with UPS, and beach towels. There is an inverter to supply power to the TV, DSTV, Wi-Fi and a light during load shedding.

The house has secure parking for 2 cars and additional free parking on the premises, and is secured with an alarm system.

This part of the Western Cape’s coastline is rugged and raw, with excellent fishing, shark cage diving, as well as stunning opportunities for SCUBA divers and snorkelers that want to see the colourful abundance of fauna and flora under the ocean’s surface. The beaches are inviting, perhaps even irresistible, for their long sandy stretches and good swimming. Some of the beaches nearby to Franskraal are Stanford’s Bay, Kleinbaai, and Die Plaat; as well as Franskraal’s own beach, which is acclaimed for its extensive sandy stretches and wonderful bird watching. There are a number of hiking and walking trails around Franskraal, as well as excellent 4 x 4 trails.

And although we always do everything in our power to restore failed parts to new, sourcing lead times in Gansbaai may prevent us from timely repairs. Guests need to take this into account when booking at Vinho Verde.
