First on stage is Magdalene Minnaar, Artistic Director at Cape Town Opera. She has performed more than 30 operatic roles. Magdalene is also known for her work in concert and oratorio performances. She is a passionate creator of new works. Through her company, Biblioteek Productions, she has helped bring many South African compositions and operas to life.
Next is Timothy Moloi, a much-loved tenor with a smooth, powerful voice. He has performed at major events like the Africa Peace Awards and the FIFA World Cup bid banquet. Timothy is not only a gifted performer but also a proud ambassador for 67Blankets for Nelson Mandela Day.
The evening also features Sima Mashazi, a dynamic singer-songwriter. She brings energy, emotion, and originality to every performance. Sima has won awards such as Best Solo Artist at the 2018 US Woordfees and the 2022 Kanna Award for Best Music Production.
