House Fál, as its name suggests, is hedged off from the outside world, creating a safe sanctuary for rest and restoration. It is situated in the peaceful neighbourhood of Onrus, just a 4 minutes’ stroll away from Davies Pool and a 5-minute drive from the blue flag status Onrus beach, and promises to charm guests with white, light and bright open spaces, and plenty of sunny places to relax and read a book. This self-catering accommodation also features a fully enclosed, large garden for kids to play, and a private cottage room ideal for an au pair, older children or a couple with young children.

The spacious home can accommodate 6 guests (plus 2 on request) and comprises 3 bedrooms in the main house with the 4th room being the cottage room. The main bedroom contains a queen-size bed and open-feature en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Bedrooms 2 and 3 comprise of a queen-size bed and a three quarter kids’ bunkbed, respectively. These rooms share a bathroom with a bath/shower combination. The cottage room consists of a double bed and adjoining private lounge area with two day-beds that can be converted into single beds (on request). The en-suite bathroom features a shower. The main en-suite and cottage rooms have large sliding doors leading onto the garden.

The home is designed for entertainment, with large open spaces in the kitchen, lounge and dining room and outdoor braai areas facilitating ease of mingling inside and playing sport outside. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge/freezer, a gas hob and electric oven, a microwave, a kettle and toaster, Nespresso coffee machine, a dishwasher and washing machine (in the garage). The tv lounge with wood-fired fireplace has a big screen tv with Netflix. Free WiFi is available with a power back-up system (inverter) ensuring basic power supply during load shedding. Guests can enjoy the secluded garden, and the covered outdoor seating area for alfresco dining, and outdoor braai facilities. Secure parking on the premises is available. A starter pack of basic cleaning consumables are provided.
