Fairview - the luxury of space

Fairview offers the opportunity to spend your sea holiday in a classic Hermanus house on a very large plot with 180 degree views over Walker Bay. Guests can watch whales while having coffee on the porch! Lovely wooden floors, high ceilings and carefully selected art embody the character and charm of Fairview. The main draw is without a doubt the views from the front porch, the sunny protected courtyard and braai and the sense of endless space.

Fairview can accommodate 8 guests and comprises 4 bedrooms. The main bedroom contains a queen-size bed and en-suite bath room with a traditional enamel bath. The second and third bedrooms contain a king-size/twin bed conversion and they share a spacious bathroom with a shower. Bedroom 2 is sea-facing whilst Bedroom 3 faces the courtyard. The fourth bedroom at the back of the house is furnished with a large double bed and features and en-suite bathroom with a shower.

The house comprises an open-plan kitchen, dining area, and a lounge. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, a gas hob and oven, a microwave, a kettle and toaster, a french press, a dishwasher, as well as cleaning materials. In the lounge is a Smart TV, and a wood-fired fireplace.

Guests can enjoy the large, well-cared-for garden for sporting activities, as well as the outdoor seating area for alfresco dining, and braai facilities. Parking is also available to guests, and the property is secure with an alarm system. A separate laundry with washing machine and tumble dryer adds to the list of amenities. Free wifi is available, and a mini power back-up system ensures that guests can watch tv during power outages.

The location offers access to the cliff path, a number of restaurants, art galleries and coffee shops. It is also not far from local beaches and wineries in the Hemel and Aarde valley.
